1. Create a full brief, which includes answers to the following:
Why are we commissioning a video?
What do we want to say?
What sort of 'tone' should the programme have?
Who are our target audience? How much do we want to spend?
When do we want to launch the programme?
How are we going to distribute the programme?
Who will be the principal point of contact for the production company?
What do we want the viewer to do after watching the programme?
2. Presentation
Ken Robinson Associates will be happy to give a presentation of their past work for
you, in order to make a decision on their suitability for the project.
3. Meeting
Arrange a meeting with Ken Robinson Associates and give them a full briefing of the programme.
4. Look and Feel
Ken Robinson Associates will produce an outline script and visual treatments for your approval.
This will give a broad idea of how the programme will look and sound
5. Script
Once the outline has been amended and approved, a full script is produced for your approval.
6. Production
The production elements - filming, voice-over recording, graphics production - are scheduled, circulated and executed.
7. First Cut
On completion of the production schedule - after everything has
been filmed and recorded, the 'first cut' edit is produced for your approval.
8. Final Cut
The first cut is developed to final cut stage. This will have all graphics,
music and special effects added to produce the master tape.
9. Duplicaiton and Distribution
Organise the tape copies and distribution. Accept the grateful thanks of your boss and peers. Ask for a pay rise!. |
